From more than a thousand years, Estaing has chosen Saint-Fleuret as the boss of the village. Fleuret, Bishop of Clermont, while coming from Rome, stopped in Estaing where he died after making some miracles.
In order to celebrate his memory, Estaing organizes each first week-end of july, a procession where all people in the village wear the histotical clothes of the famous guys of Estaing.
